One of the most of the important aspects of learning a new language is that you feel comfortable, supported, and motivated.
The way we achieve this is via our Perfect Teacher™ assignment process for new students. When you subscribe to a private tutoring program, we'll do an in-depth analysis of your goals, preferred learning style, etc. This will be used to match you with a teacher that perfectly suits your needs.
New students are allowed to try as many teachers as they need in order to make this match. As a multitude of factors are considered, it is labor-intensive for our Student Success team but necessary to ensure you achieve your goals.
Can you change once assigned a teacher?
Absolutely. If you decide your initial teacher is not the right, we'll work with you until we find the perfect teacher.
Separately, if you decide to change your teacher at any point in the duration of your subscription, this is perfectly fine. However, we would recommend this only if you are not finding your teacher to your liking.
If you are enjoying your current teacher but wanting to change simply out of trying different teachers, we reserve the right to authorize this every 3 consecutive months of study.
Quality education at the price we provide is a difficult balance. We always try to accommodate the needs of our students so that they are happy. However, constantly reassigning students comes with a large investment of resources, both financial and human talent.
Allowing our students to bounce around between teachers is not only difficult to manage. It's also restrictive for our students who would otherwise have the opportunity to be matched with a teacher who suits their needs. It is best for all parties involved with this limitation in place.
A teacher who spends months with you will gain powerful, intimate knowledge of your history learning the language. This enables us to provide a continuously evolving curriculum that gets better with time. We encourage studying with each dedicated teacher as long as possible.
In addition, we reserve the right to only provide a reassignment if you have at least one month of your subscription remaining.
