Recommendations for group classes

The following are kind suggestions to help ensure every student has an amazing experience taking classes with SpanishVIP!

 

It's important to us that every student enjoys their time and can see extraordinary progress. If every student can follow these recommendations, it will make a massive positive impact on the overall progress and fulfillment of you and your peers.

 

Group Classes Recommendations

• Remember that if you schedule a class but you won't be able to attend, you can cancel the reservation using the link on the email you received so you don't appear on the list. This allows another student to take your place!
  
  
• If you decide to take a class, please come prepared with a stable internet connection and a distraction-free environment (minimal noise, other people talking, cars, etc.) Also, you should be completely focused on the class. Avoiding doing something else during the class would be the best way to show how much you care about the Spanish class and see maximum progress.
  
  
• Remember, you can schedule classes even 30 minutes before the class starts, but joining a class after it has already begun can affect the development of the lesson and interrupt other students that have been there from the beginning. For this reason, we do not accept students into any class if joining more than 10 minutes late. If you are the only student who is going to attend, the teacher will wait for only 5 minutes.
  
  
• Being patient and empathic with other students is extremely important! We all have a different process and the best part of group classes is that we can learn from others as well. Let's respect and wait for your turn to participate and keep our classes a judgment-free zone.
  
  
• The best way to enjoy your group classes is using a computer, however, if you need to use another device (phone, iPad, etc), make sure you have a good microphone or some headphones so your teachers and partners can listen to you clearly.
  
  
• In case you're having issues with a link to join the class or something related to the lesson, please contact the teacher directly as the first option, that way, you can get a faster reply.
  
  
• Please keep in mind that every class has a specific purpose and description. Your teacher will only teach the lesson following the topic of it. If you want to practice or learn a different subject because you are the only student in the class, you can make a reservation for another lesson to have a better experience.
  
  
• It is remarkably important that you schedule classes that are made for your actual level. We understand that we have a big variety of lessons, but joining a class that is higher than your level can affect the development of the class for other students that are more advanced or more beginner than you (IE: you may feel classes are too fast, or too slow). Where possible, please only join classes for your respective level. Our teachers can help guide you through understanding what level (A1, A2, etc) you currently hold!
